About Us

Conquest Koi was founded in September 2024 by two passionate creators, united by a commitment to craftsmanship and originality. Our focus is to deliver a distinctive level of embroidery, specialising in intricate Japanese Koi designs that blend traditional influence with modern apparel.

Within our first week, we were honoured with an invitation to one of the UK’s largest Koi exhibitions, where we connected with respected enthusiasts and notable figures within the community. Shortly after, we made a decisive investment in a Brother PR655 Entrepreneur 6-needle embroidery machine, significantly expanding our capabilities and enabling a higher level of precision, scale, and creativity.

Our vision is to establish Conquest Koi as a leading name in premium embroidered apparel—continually expanding our Japanese Koi collections while exploring new creative directions in the year ahead.

About Me.

I’ve been passionate about embroidery since 2016, when my fascination with embroidery and design first grew into a side hustle creating custom garments. In May 2023, that passion evolved into Conquest Koi after noticing a lack of quality clothing within the koi hobbyist community. What began as a creative outlet has now become a full-time business, supporting me through maternity leave with my first child.

Over the years, I’ve built extensive knowledge of fabrics, threads, and embroidery techniques through endless experimentation and learning from failures. I exclusively embroider on premium-quality garments because embroidery is an investment for my customers — and the last thing anyone wants is for the fabric to wear out before the embroidery does.

Embroidery is truly a superior craft when done correctly. With the right stabilisation, machine tension, and attention to detail, almost anything can be achieved. Every garment that comes into contact with the skin is finished with an iron-on backing stabiliser to ensure maximum comfort and eliminate any rough texture behind the embroidery.
